About 2 months ago I wrote a topic where I spoke about african prints and
stole gathered pictures across different websites to aid budding stylista get the perfect designs for that Aso ebi! Today, I have decided to do a part 2 of the post (permit my tardiness in posting this). For the first part, click
here.

The Aso oke Oleku dress by Alter Ego (It's a faux wrapper; so you still get the traditional look without the headache of a possibility of the wrapper going loose. You can get the dress here
The nwando dress by Alter Ego looks like the traditional 'buba and iro' but it's also a dress!!! You can the dress here |
Omo Sexy looking elegant in Mixed prints (looks like a Jewel By Lisa design to me *fingers crossed*) |
Mess around with colours |
The high school sweetheart look; fun, flirty and playful |
Rock the prints pant (well, I won't advise you wear a top like that of the lady in the picture). For the conservative chick, get a more demure look with a dark coloured top and for the more experimental chic, rock some prints (yes! prints on prints are in now so ditch the age old theory!) or a bold hue |
As fugly as this may appear to you, it's actually a beautiful and well crafted piece and it requires a strong personality to do justice to it; if you are the shy type or bereft of height, don't go near this piece as the dress will end up wearing you. |
Simply elegant |
P.S: If you do not have a very creative and experienced tailor, do not go near any of the styles above, (ok, maybe the last style sha *shrugs*) as there will be a great disparity between your good intentions and the bad execution!
Love to hear from you, XOXO!!!
