Royal Blue and Yellow: Dare to Wear!

As a street chic, most of my stories are street inspired, tho' unfortunately, I can't get pictiures of random peeps on the street for now, either for the fear of being slapped or being slammed with a lawsuit, neither sounds pleasant... lol, so I'll just stick to getting pictures from my bestfriend(Google).
Back to my story, I have recently noticed that the colour blocking trend has refused to fade away and people keep rocking the trend; the right way or the wrong way, but of all the ones that I've seen recently, there were 2 colours that particularly struck me----->>> ROYAL BLUE AND YELLOW
This article will enlighten you more on how to do these two colours together without raising the red flags of style/fashion watchers.
For the fashionista, you can pair these two bold but plain colours with an accessory that is patterned in neutral colours like black, white, brown, gray, beige, ivory just like the way she paid her bright colours with a pair of animal skin strappy heeled shoes. You can also choose to add a touch of glamour with a pair of gold or silver shoes.

For the safe playing chic who would like to do these colours in a safe way, you can emulate Rachel Bilson above. She played it safe by wearing a pair of black pants and blue top with a pair of yellow shoes. It doesn't seem so loud, yet the colours stay beautiful together. You can do something similar with a black dress, a pair yellow shoes and a royal blue clutch(forget the old rule that clutch bag must match the shoes... it's so 1970). Or it may just be in the little accessories (ear rings, necklace,  bangles, etc)
Here, the two colours are paired beautifully with a beige clutch bag, which is a neutral colour.

Whoever said bold people can't wear bright colours hasn't seen this picture.
The saying that bold people shouldn't wear bright colours has in fact been misconstrued by big people that I often find that even the really dark ones (bothering on being black/burnt), will rather opt for black coloured clothes which eventually makes them look dirty.
Are you fat? yes, Can you rock these colours? Yes, all you really need are the right attitude and the confidence, and every other person will see how beautiful you are. And never forget to put the darker shade of the two colours you're matching on the part where the fat is most concentrated and pay extra attention to the kind of material that's used in making the clothes, so that you don't have pounds of fat shaking carelessly through a light material.

  2. Good read! I was a little worried that I would be doing too much for NYE by wearing a black bandage dress, neon yellow heels, and a royal/ cobalt blue clutch. After reading this I was reassured that I was ok lol. Thanks.
