2Kings concert with Afrobeat legend, Femi Kuti & 2Face Idibia; The Good, The Bad and the 'Wogly'

Before I go right into it let me quickly acknowledge Ynaija-my photographs source... Ok... Time to shoot!!! By the way 'Wogly' is a portmanteau of 'Wowo and Ugly'!
Annie Idibia & 2Face Idibia - August 2013 - BellaNaija
First for all the online style watchers, lets not be biased about this babe, she might have been careless about her appearance in the past, but this isn't as bad as everyone thinks. I'm of the opinion that she took a risk with the choice of colours that just somehow worked well for her dark skin tone. As for the hair, |I like the intention but I must admit that the execution was poor, the shoes are killing me, I'm not saying that they don't look good, but with this outfit, they're totally on a separate lane!

HONEY B's Outfit to the NottingHill carnival: Not or NOT???

No need to beat about the bush here, I first saw this pix on BellaNaija and i decided to research further on google, all of the sites i saw decided to paint black white, they all asked a question I'll just rather treat as a rhetoric 'Hot Or Not?'... i snickered to myself and wondered why anyone on this planet would remotely consider this unclad, ok... semi clad lady (well... I cant refer to her as anything else, I would some guns and knives on my back), as HOT? Read and view more pictures after the break...

GET THAT SHAPE YOU COVET WITHOUT HITTING THE GYM

http://eyetestgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/The-optical-illusion-dress.jpg
PANEL ILLUSION DRESSES
Women naturally covet the figure 8 shape, and most will like to be a size 8. 34-26-39 is the magical statistic, we all crave (including me!) , but unfortunately, we can't all achieve that aim, but what do we do in lieu of that??? Dress to create the illusion we crave. Don't expect a magical transformation, but still expect a turn around of heads in your direction.

IYANYA TRENDING IN SKIRT???

Okay ladies, the men are firing back; I guess they are tired of the women stealing all their outfits and almost monopolising them (trousers, boyfriend blazers, shirts, face cap and even men's bold face wrist watch; ladies rock it all!), they have finally resorted to wearing skirts!!!lol.
As it appears, the tunic/men's skirt is trending and even the kukere master-Iyanya couldn't resist the trend as he was spotted rocking a DIY version of this Scotland inspired trend in Ghana for the Soundcity Premium Party. View pictures after the cut.

5 FASHION "DON'TS" IN A CHURCH

Hallo minders!!! It's another Sunday, and what could be more appropriate than to talk about some fashion don'ts in the house of worship. I've been to quite a number of churches, and I have seen some really funny, bizarre, obscene outfits that people wear to a house of prayer. I know some churches are more accommodating than others with regards to permitted outfits, but irrespective of your denomination, there are still some unacceptable fashion choices for a religious setting.
Here are my top 5 picks for the fashion don'ts in the a church.

TREGGINGS!!!

Leggings, Jeggings and Treggings

I was at work recently, and I heard this word that was totally alien to my fashion vocabulary-TREGGINGS! I was familiar with leggings and jeggings, but what the heck is treggings? I thought to myself.
I got talking to a couple of other friends and well, like me, that hadn't heard about it too, it was at this point that I decided it would be a good idea to read up on it and blog about it. It wasn't really funny when my 50 something year old boss and her friends were talking about Treggings and a young girl in her prime who runs a fashion blog was totally befuddled by the term, I mocked and scolded myself really hard. Well it's all demystified in this article.

FASHIONABLE, CHIC AND CORPORATE!!!

http://ethereality.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/howtoblackjkt.jpg
Every Sunday, the first question i ask myself wen i get back from church is 'what do i wear to work this week?'. It usually starts as a simple question and then it becomes a clutter. Damn! It all just has to be perfect. And thank God for my kinda job, i don't have to be dressed in dull Gray, uninspiring navy blue and the ever boring black, I don't have to wear suits daily... Well, for me, my workplace wardrobe is a drama spot... Mixing and matching bold bright colours no be beans. LOL
The truth is, I like my job cause it gives me the opportunity to express myself totally and dress how i feel, a lot of people have got jobs where there are restrictions on the kinda colours, pattern, style etc of outfits you can wear to work. The kind of work you have will definitely determine how you dress to work. But either you work at a fashion store like me, work as a secretary or u work in a bank etc, there are certain rules of thumb one must adhere to when deciding on your workplace outfit.
