Dad wears short shorts to prove point to daughter

Well, here's one way to get your daughter to stop believing in the appeal of short shorts: Wear 'em yourself. We don't actually recommend it, but that's what father Scott Mackintosh did recently in response to his daughter's "inappropriate and immodest" dress, hastily creating a tiny pair of denim cutoffs one evening when she — one of four, along with three sons; this man has some powerful genes — refused to change into a longer pair of shorts for "family night."

As Mackintosh explained in a blog post, he believed the leg-baring affair would end in the driveway of his home, where his kids were waiting in the car in anticipation of a dinner out. But, owing to the fact that teenagers are drawn to phone screens like moths to a flame, his daughter didn't even look up and notice his apparel choice as he made his way to the driver's seat.

So, on to Hibachi House, where the shots you see above were snapped and uploaded to the Internet (where they then proceeded to go viral). After that: mini golf. Then milkshakes! All in all, it sounds like good, clean, American fun. Just, you know, with a full-grown man in Daisy Dukes.

"There was no 'Dad I get it' or 'Dad you’re the best…. thanks for that awesome lesson,' Mackintosh writes, but it seems that his daughter got the message eventually. He recently told KSL News that she's "dressed a bit better now."

Now the question is: 'Ladies, how would you feel if your dad does this to you?' and "Men, will you tow this route to correct your daughter?'
